John Moultrie was born in Charleston South Carolina, grew up in Brooklyn, New York has spent the past 28 years "on-the air".
John comes to VOS-FM with many successful years in local radio, and is a familiar face on television as well, where he has appeared on several programs, including as host of his very own cooking show. During his career, John has been a television entertainment correspondent where he's interviewed many world famous entertainers including Don Rickles, Dionne Warwick, Paul Anka and Donna Summer. John has also been a top-rated talk show host, an acclaimed public speaker and for the past 15 years, he has been both host and executive producer of the CP and AHRC-Occupations Telethon. Very active in the community, John serves on the National Board of Directors for The American Heart Association and has co-hosted the WSUL/WVOS Heart-A-Thon in Sullivan County.
Additionally, John is quite busy doing commercial voiceover work in television, radio and films. He also produces oldies concerts with everyone from The Drifters to Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge.
John is a graduate of New York University, and he's a past Commissioner of Police for the City of Middletown. He's married to Anne Jacobs-Moultrie and is the proud father of four children. John and Anne also have nine grandchildren.
